so i am finally back at school now and my journal is up and running again! im sure all of you are thrilled...haha. i tried to go see hawthorne heights last night but the show sold out with only two people in front of me...needless to say i was mad. but i had a good night at my friends instead so it was all good.

so far my break has been somewhat uneventful...with a few pleasent moments. ive been working every day on building this huge two story addition to my house, im pretty excited though because im giong to have a huge room now that i can move into around march. i did buy the new elliott smith cd though and ive been listening to it alot. he was such a great artist and i love everything he did, he meant so much to music. anyways if anyone around here wants to hang out just tell me or call!

im like an old lady. i was just playing bingo at my college. i won a highlighter and some post it notes. i dont know why i played. haha
so i got my calc test back today...yeah the one i took 4 weeks ago. i suppose i never got it since i dont go to class but...i got an 87 on it! thats like the 3rd highest grade and i dont go to class. i have gone only to take my tests and i study the night before for an hour. i find it kind of funny. moving on...i want an i-pod
haha any awesome people love me enough to buy me one for christmas?

i apoligize for not writing in my journal at all in the past few
days...but there is a reason! i swear! its because i was just waiting
for a bunch of things to happen so i can give you something cool! haha.
lets see...
well first off, some bad news...my fucking les paul fell on the ground
and has a substantial chip on the back of the body...ughhhh! it doesnt
effect the sound or any of the electronics in the guitar, but
still...im so mad at that. i guess ill just say that i was playing some
really rocking show and everyone was going crazy and it got damaged
that way...yes that sounds good.
alright lets see...whats next?
my teacher thought my precis was the best in the class. im taking this
senior seminar class that deals with literary theory and at the end of
it we have to write a 20 page paper, and i chose to do it on Requiem
For A Dream. Man this paper is going to be absolutely amazing. i cant
wait to actually sit down and start typing it out. when i went to see
her in her office she told me that she sees something in me that she
doesnt see in even her brightest senior students...and being that im
only a sophomore im taking that as a great compliment. this is the
teacher that convinced me to become an english/history double major.
she told me that she wants to sit down with me and talk about grad
school for english. man i cant wait for grad school...
on sunday night me, gavin, and my roommate jake went to an old
abandoned coal breaker. it was pitch black outside and it was pretty
freaky. but anyways its like about 8 stories high and we decided that
our goal would be to go all the way to the top of the opposite side of
the building and then make our way back down the opposite way, so each
path would be a new one. well minus the many holes and the lack of
stairs in certain areas it wasnt too bad. the worst part was when i
told my roommate to watch out for this giant hole in the floor and he
tripped over some huge block. seriously, if he was just 10 ft closer to
me he would have fallen about 20 ft into pitch blackness. and im sure
it would not have been something he would want to do. that was fun
though.
on monday night i went to see MEWITHOUTYOU at the metro in wilkes-barre
with christie and cristina. we ran into a couple of my friends from
home...michelle and julie and joe! and we also ran into john z. and
dave there. owen played there that night too, and i had seen him about
3 weeks earlier when joan of arc came. i was kind of pissed off how
everyone was talking during his thing and being so disrespectful. you
could tell he was getting upset. one thing that stuck out in my mind so
much was when some kid yelled "dont stop playing, i drove 4 hours to
get here!" and then Mike Kinsella was just like..."im sorry, but
everyone here just wants to see mewithoutyou." and he sounded so sad
and upset and pissed and i felt for him. sometimes people can be such
asses. he was quite amazing though. i really enjoyed what he played.
then mewithoutyou played and it was so fun. they are a great band.
their live performance was quite impressive and they had so much
energy. i must say though...there was one part of the show that was
pretty disgusting. the singer from the band spit onto the ceiling and
it just stayed up there...slowly letting gravity take control of
it...but the weird thing was it didnt want to fall...haha it was still
there after the show was over...just dangling there.
well tuesday night my band played at my college for cafe night. i guess
you cant really call it a band because our drummer wasnt able to make
it and we dont have a bass player right now...so we basically had to
rewrite all of our songs for the acoustic guitar during that day and
get it down before the show that night. we were able to do it and i
thought it went pretty well for the time that we spent practicing. that
was the first time we played for people other than ourselves, so i
guess its just step one and we will only get better. next semester we
are planning to have a much larger set and a full band and be kick ass
for everyone to see us...haha. but anyways i would say keep an eye out
for us, but its kind of hard to when we dont have a name as of yet...

so i just finished reading The Tyger by William Blake just now. i love that guy, his work is so amazing. by far he is my favrite poet. so i havent been doing too much lately, ive been kind of bored. i need to watch requeim for a dream sometime really soon because i have to write a precis for my paper on it. everytime i want to sit down and watch it something comes up and everytime i have nothing to do i feel like i cant just sit down and give it my full attention, which is odd since it is one of my favorite movies. anyways my band is practicing later today and that should be fun. we are playing next tuesday so im pretty excited.
movies are my favorite, so everyone list their top 5 or 10 movies, whichever you prefer! haha

alright...im getting tired of all this crap. everyone that supported kerry please leave an informed reason why you did so. i want to know that there arent just a bunch of morons out there who voted kerry for no reason then got pissed off when he lost. and believe me if you can give good reasons i will be willing to hear them. if you can support it then i do not think your choice is a wrong one by any means. so please, feel free to comment.

over the past week i have neglected to make an entry. thats because good thing after good thing has been happening to me and finally i am at the end of everything i have been waiting for. kerry has just announced that he is going to concede to president bush. wow. i mean not only does my choice for president win, but the boston red sox win as well? first off the red sox didnt just win the world series...they never trailed and they swept the best team in baseball. ridiculous. it seems as if god loves me right now. im sorry for gloating everyone but i really had too! hehehe i wont do much more like that unless....hmmmm
maybe boston wins the world series again!?! lol

so as i was going to chemistry this morning two people that are in my calc class were talking about a test. so i asked them what they were talking about and they told me that we had a test...TOMORROW. this came as a suprise to me...mainly because i dont go to that class ever. haha i havent been to that class since the last test we took and i have attended a grand total of 3 times. and now i have to teach myself two chapters and do well on a test...haha asian genes kick in now! oh god i hope they can. haha it serves me right for thinking im better than that class.
BOSTON IS UP THREE GAMES TO NOTHING IN THE WORLD SERIES! I JUST CANT BELIEVE IT...LOL
